There are many Salvation Army Bed & Bread Clubs* all over the country, but all have the same mission — to provide food and shelter to the hungry and homeless. Some Clubs offer nutritious meals. Others provide groceries through their food pantry or vouchers to local supermarkets. In many cases, this assistance makes the difference between hungry people eating at least one decent meal a day . . . and going hungry.

Gifts to the Bed & Bread Club also help The Salvation Army provide temporary emergency shelter, and motel vouchers so homeless families and their children have a safe place to stay until they can obtain permanent housing. Plus, we offer assistance to prevent people from becoming homeless in the first place.

A square meal. A clean bed to sleep in. These are vital necessities. By providing these basics to struggling men, women, and their children, the Bed & Bread Club gives them the help — and hope — they need to overcome their problems and rebuild their lives.
